A healthy alternative to your favorite chili dish that is savory and fulfilling!
beans contain amino acids, which are the protein building blocks that the body uses to heal and to make new tissues, such as bone, muscle, hair, skin, and blood. Protein is an essential nutrient.
beef is high in protein, full of vitamins and rich in minerals.
onions contain sulfur, which helps to remove toxins from the body.
beef broth contains gelatin, which has been shown to help heal the intestinal lining and reduce inflammation in digestive organs.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound beef
1 large onion (roughly chopped)
2 tbsp SalterieOne West Blend
28oz diced tomatoes
6oz tomato paste
2 cups beef broth (The Hale)
15oz can black beans
15oz can pinto beans
15oz can kidney beans
1 tbsp balsamic
METHOD
Cook 1 pound beef over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, chopping into crumbles and mixing often.
Add 1 large onion roughly chopped + 2 tbsp SalterieOne West Blend.
Continue cooking 5 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and 2 cups beef broth (the Hale).
Then add can black beans, can pinto beans, can kidney beans, and 1 tbsp balsamic.
Continue cooking 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Let cool down and enjoy!
